Encoded Clincal Practice Guidelines make up part of the knowledge base for EGADSS.

Our initial guidelines are being developed in the area of prevention - specifically immunization recommendations to start. This page will collect guidelines used in testing and development as well as other guidelines that are used in EGADSS.

As the project develops, a much more formal guideline management system is envisioned. These pages are here curently to share some of our developmental thinking.

Arden Syntax

A subset of Arden Syntax will be implemented for EGADSS.

Guideline Recommendations

For each MLM guideline that is triggered, a recommendation may be generated (depending on the patient summary).

This section describes the structure of the recommendation that comes back from EGADSS to the clinical information system.
